Boston, MA – (December 27, 2006) iCorps Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of outsourced IT for small and midsize businesses, today announced that it received Mass High Tech’s 2006 TechCitizenship Award for the third time in three years. This award recognizes technology companies across New England that are pitching in to make their communities better places in which to work and live.

Each fall for the past six years, Mass High Tech surveys companies and asks about cash donations, in-kind contributions and volunteer hours. Then, they compare their value to revenues, and those that meet certain benchmarks are recognized with the TechCitizenship award. Companies which were honored in the past ranged in size from under $1million in annual revenue to over $1 billion in annual revenue. So clearly, corporate citizenship is not predicated by size.

“Our mission statement from the start was to be good neighbors and citizens, and help those who are less fortunate than ourselves,” says iCorps Technologies’ President and CEO, Mike Hadley. “We realize still, after twelve years in business, that the more we give back, the more successful we become”.

iCorps provides technology services to nonprofit foundations that need technology to run, but do not have the resources to fund this need. Included in the company’s charitable activities is the donation of Web design, Web hosting, computer support and other IT related services to organizations like Peace at Home, Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, The Second Step and The United Way.
