BOSTON – (October 1, 2002) iCorps Technologies, a leading provider of information technology services received the Outstanding Website WebAward in the annual Web Marketing Association competition for the site it created for the non-profit, Boston’s Fourth of July Foundation, Inc.

The Web Marketing Association presents its WebAwards annually for the best Website in several categories. iCorps' multiple awarding winning Website for Boston's Fourth of July Foundation at www.july4th.org won top honors in the non profit category.

With the Independence Day celebration being Boston’s premier event, and recognizing that the September 11 attacks had precipitated a need for increased security at all major gatherings, the Boston’s Fourth of July team needed a site that would accomplish three key objectives: disseminate timely information about the many new security measures; provide live updates and logistical information to faithful Fourth attendees- more than 400,000 annually; and match electronically the look and feel consistent with the status earned by the nationally recognized event.

iCorps' solution allowed Boston's Fourth of July Foundation to accomplish all of these goals. "The feedback our team received about our Website was more than we could have expected", said Event Producer Pam Picard. "iCorps captured on the Web the grandeur of our celebration while at the same time building a valuable resource for our spectators, corporate sponsor, and national media."

iCorps delivers result-oriented technology and consulting services to empower companies with innovative and effective IT solutions to increase overall efficiency, productivity, and a better return on their IT investment. "iCorps was proud to serve as a community partner with Boston's biggest party, the Fourth of July," noted Michael A. Hadley, President & CEO, iCorps Technologies.
